Yan-David Erlich ("Yanda") is a technology investor, former operator, and repeat founder. He is a General Partner at B Capital where he invests in technology and AI startups from seed-stage to pre-IPO. Most recently, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer at Weights & Biases: the AI developer platform. Yanda angel invested in the company, led the Series A representing Coatue, and served as board director. After joining operationally, he built out and oversaw their global sales, customer success, BD & partnerships, strategy, and data science teams. Prior, Yanda was a General Partner at Coatue where he helped launch and manage the enterprise investing practice for the venture funds. He personally led a number of their AI investments. Yanda is a 4x venture-backed founder & CEO. He founded Parsable (acquired by CAI), ChoiceVendor (acquired by LinkedIn), Mogad (acquired by iSkoot/Qualcomm), and Happiness Engines. He’s also an active angel investor including in Thumbtack, MasterClass, Forethought, and Braintrust. He started his career with software engineering and product management roles at both Google and Microsoft. He has a Bachelor of Science in both Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rice University (Phi Beta Kappa) and an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
