PARIS (Reuters) - Le champion canadien de l'intelligence artificielle (IA) Cohere a annoncé lundi l'ouverture de son premier bureau en France, à Paris, où il souhaite faire croître ses activités, intensifiant encore davantage la compétition pour les acteurs européens de l'IA au premier rang desquels la start-up française Mistral. "Cohere ouvre un bureau à Paris, son nouveau hub pour la région Europe, Moyen-Orient et Afrique", une région jugée "stratégique et en forte croissance pour l'entreprise", déclare la start-up, valorisée 6,8 milliards de dollars (5,8 milliards d'euros), dans un communiqué publié lundi. L'arrivée de Cohere, qui disposait en Europe d'un seul bureau à Londres, s'inscrit dans la course en pleine accélération dans l'IA entre géants américains et leurs concurrents européens et chinois.
